These 2 lovely Georgian townhouses have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and feature 18 lovely, unique rooms, a bistro, a guest lounge and beautiful walled gardens. All guestrooms feature crisp, white linen, power-showers, plasma TVs and luxurious soft furnishings.
Gabbro Restaurant is located at garden level with direct access to the walled gardens. It boasts an excellent array of Scottish themed dishes and always features local and Scottish produce.

During your stay at The Salisbury Hotel you’ll be taken back to the time of traditional Georgian pampering, as you relax in one of our 18 individually characterised bedrooms. The room have recently been completely renovated to include modern facilities and luxurious surroundings.
Contemporary style is teamed with traditional Georgian features to provide a unique and interesting guest experience. All rooms located on the ground and first floor levels benefit from original working shutters, high ceilings with original cornices and some with marble or granite fireplaces. For real luxury, our four-poster bedrooms feature lovely big baths, walk-in showers and lovely bathrobes for your comfort.

AREA INFORMATION
We are located approximately 15 minutes' walk from the Royal Mile and Castle area, or approximately 5 to 10 minutes by bus. We are also very close to Waverley Train Station. We are on a main bus route with lots of buses going to and from the Princes Street area every 5 to 10 minutes.
There are many interesting shops and bars within walking distance, and the Queens Hall and Festival Theatre are approximately 10 minutes away.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
By Car:
- We are located off the A7, the main route into the city of Edinburgh. There is limited off-street parking available for our guests.
By Bus:
We are situated on a main bus route, and the buses you can take from Princes Street or North Bridge (around the corner from Waverley Station/foot of Princes Street) are: 3, 5, 7, 8, 31, 37, 37A, and 49. Please get off at the first bus stop on Minto Street and turn left (towards the traffic lights) when you step off the bus. We are just around the corner on the left-hand side of Salisbury Road.
