Kew House and Apartments, (8 rooms) description: The guest lounge is a tranquil, comfortable oasis in which you can relax at the end of a busy day, and our personal service ensures that if you need us, we are here to help. Ian and Alan, the owners, offer unobtrusive help and assistance, as and when you need it; from a simple request for directions; to an interesting restaurant away from the tourist hordes; to helping you plan what to do while you are in Edinburgh.
Free wireless broadband access is available from 10:00 to 23:00, within Kew House, with a Wi-Fi hot-spot. Please note that Wi-Fi wireless broadband internet access is not guaranteed in the apartments, but guests may use the Kew House facility. There is also a computer available for guests use in the lounge.
Kew House offers well-equipped stylish and contemporary guest accommodation, suitable for both business travellers and those exploring the magnificent city of Edinburgh for leisure.
Offering personal and unobtrusive service, the 6 rooms are uncluttered and immaculate. Secure parking and Wi-Fi wireless broadband internet access are included in the rate, as is a generous cooked breakfast with an extensive choice of items.

AREA INFORMATION Kew Terrace is a listed terrace (row house) on the main route to and from Edinburgh Airport but just 1.6 km (one mile) from Princes Street. This means that visiting the main attractions such as the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle is easy but we are also in an ideal location for the airport if you have an early flight. We are ideally located and within walking distance of Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, Tynecastle Park, The National Gallery of Modern Art as well as the other main galleries. If walking is not your thing then there are around 20 buses per hour to take you on the 5 minute trip to Princes Street.
TRAVEL INFORMATION We are positioned directly on the A8 route to and from Edinburgh International Airport and the city centre, and just 10 minute's walk along Haymarket Terrace from Haymarket railway station. With, our position between Roseburn and Haymarket and opposite West Coates, you can walk to Princes Street in 15 minutes. Buses numbers 12, 26 and 31 (Lothian Buses) and 86, 16, 38 (First Bus) pass our door from Princes Street.
From the airport:
A taxi to the hotel will cost around 12.00 GBP. The Airport Bus (100) stops opposite Kew House at West Coates. The fare is 3.00 GBP single or 5.00 GBP open return.
From the bus or railway station:
From Edinburgh (Waverley) station, a taxi will cost around 6.00 GBP, or you can use any of the buses mentioned above. Ask to get off at Kew Terrace.
From the North and West:
You can also leave the train at Edinburgh’s Haymarket Station and walk left along Haymarket Terrace for 10 minutes or take a taxi for around 3.00 GBP.
